2. Services & Appointments

We provide diagnostic imaging (MRI, CT, Ultrasound, X-ray, OPG, DEXA, etc.) and clinical laboratory services as described on our Website and in-clinic. Service offerings and prices may change; confirmed appointments and invoices prevail.

Appointments can be booked via the Website, phone or in-person. Please arrive on time; we may reschedule appointments for late arrivals or clinical necessity.

3. Patient Instructions & Preparation

Certain tests require pre-test preparation (fasting, removal of metal objects, prior imaging). It is your responsibility to follow pre-test instructions provided at booking or on the Website. Failure to follow instructions may result in rescheduling or cancellation and additional charges.

4. Results, Reporting & Medical Advice

Reports are prepared by qualified radiologists and pathologists. Reports are provided to the ordering/referring physician and to patients (digital/printed) as applicable. Our reports are intended for clinical use by healthcare professionals; they do not substitute for professional medical advice or a clinical consultation.

If you have concerns about your health, consult your treating physician.

5. Payments, Fees & Refunds

Fees are payable as described at the time of service or booking. Payment methods accepted: cash, card, online payment (subject to confirmation). Refunds for pre-paid services are handled on a case-by-case basis per clinic policy (e.g., cancellations, duplicate payments). Any refund due will be processed within a reasonable period after verification.

Insurance/TPA claims: We will assist with claim documentation; however settlement is subject to the insurer/TPA terms.

6. Intellectual Property

All content on the Website (text, logos, images, reports templates) is owned or licensed by Mithra Scans unless otherwise stated. You may not reproduce, adapt or republish content for commercial use without prior written consent.

7. Use of Site & Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to misuse the Website (no hacking, scraping, impersonation, uploading unlawful content). You must provide accurate information when booking or completing patient forms.

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Mithra Scans from any claims, losses, liabilities, costs or expenses resulting from your breach of these Terms, misuse of services or inaccurate information provided by you.

12. Cancellation & No-show Policy

Parties shall, before litigation, attempt to resolve disputes by good-faith negotiation; failing which disputes may be referred to arbitration under the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996, to be conducted in Salem (if both parties agree).
